I snapped a photo of this turtle in a pond in Golden Gate Park the other day when I stopped to admire its slow, steady persistence. Keeping its head above water, it headed unwaveringly to the bank on the other side.
Some days feel like that, plowing ahead, one flapping limb at a time, relying on instinct and your internal compass to get you where you need to go.
Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
Can you think of someone you know who seems luminous and vibrant? When do you feel most alive? How can you cultivate that feeling even more?
