This weekend I saw the new documentary, Being Elmo, the inspiring story of Kevin Clash, the puppeteer who brings Elmo to life. As someone who grew up with Sesame Street, it was also a nostalgic film that sparked many memories for me. I experience the full range of laughter and tears throughout the film, especially seeing the love and support Kevin’s parents gave him from the very beginning, and the generous mentoring he received from Kermit Love. Being Elmo is truly a testimony of following your heart and your true calling.
