I recently joined the core faculty at the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology, in the Master of Spiritual Guidance program. I have also been a member of the clinical faculty at the University of California-San Francisco in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences since 1994, and have taught in the Department of Social Work at San Francisco State University, as well as at the Starr King School for the Ministry, the Unitarian Universalist seminary in Berkeley, CA.
The educational environment is a place where I bring humor, playfulness and creativity into the learning process. Teaching is a wonderful opportunity to nourish the minds and hearts of students. Some of my favorite teachers have become lifelong mentors and friends.
