This week I will complete my last facilitator training with the Center for Courage and Renewal.
What does it mean to facilitate COURAGE?
The website dictionary.com listed the following as synonyms for courage:
fearlessness, dauntlessness,
intrepidity, pluck, spirit.
Frequently I have the privilege of supporting my clients as they cultivate these qualities of courage.
Whether I am working with individuals, groups or organizations, I am consistently inspired by people's willingness to risk vulnerability and speak their hearts' truth.
As a spiritual director, therapist, mentor or trainer, an essential part of my role is as a supportive, steadfast witness to the truth unfolding. Sometimes this happens with fearlessness, dauntlessness, intrepidity, pluck, and spirit; other times it means walking through immense fear or judgment.
