A few years ago I noticed there were random Santas roaming the streets, dozens of them ranging in size, shape, color and gender. Santa bears and Santa studs, with a few elves sprinkled throughout.
It happened again the other day, and I found out they call it Santacon, an adult social event that takes place all over the world during the holiday season.
