On January 26th, 2017, I will be teaching a class about working with addictions in spiritual guidance. After almost 30 years working with addicts in a variety of clinical settings, I’m so excited to be offering this course so that spiritual directors, chaplains and other spiritual care providers can work effectively and compassionately with addicts in a spiritual context. Whole person wellness and recovery also includes the spiritual dimension, and in this half-day course we’ll be diving into the sacred aspects of addiction and recovery.
