This morning as I was walking from my car to my office, I noticed two little girls (perhaps around age 5 or 6) hula-hooping in the school playground. I marveled at how they were rolling and swinging together, both in sync as well as moving to their own internal rhythms. They seemed so free and easy in their bodies, and they chatted joyfully with each other as they moved.
It is our birthright to fully inhabit our bodies joyfully. Yet so many people feel embattled with and in their physical beings, for so many reasons. Reclaiming wholeness involves all four dimensions: physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. Thankfully, there are abundant resources available, both internal and external, to support healing.
