Recently I had the honor of being invited by my alma mater to be a guest on their podcast, Social Work Journeys. It was a true gift to talk with host Mary Florence Sullivan about my career path as a social worker, and the amazing journey from my earliest calling to the path until this present moment.
The spiritual dimension of growth and healing wasn’t on my radar back then in the same way it is now, and it was humbling to reflect on that journey in conversation with a new colleague.
I couldn’t possibly have predicted the trajectory of the roadmap or destinations. I’m grateful for the adventures, teachers, guides, and soul companions along the way, and the sacred thread woven through all of it.
